Petey

petey pit bull puppyHere's a story that will make you smile: how an abandoned pit bull puppy with a "club paw" is on his way to finding a home thanks to the Albany-based rescue org Out of the Pits -- and a handful of people who were willing to go the extra mile, literally, to help him. That's my hand in the photo feeding him the bottle. I had never bottle-fed a nonhuman before, and it was sweet.

Petey has a splint on his paw and a new foster family. He's the cutest thing on four feet, and his story just makes your heart melt even more.

So proud to call Laura and Naomi friends. :) I love this story, and I really love that Petey - such a cutie pie! So glad to hear he'll have a good home for the holidays. :)
