Cranksgiving is back this year (#5 if you're counting). The "speed-grocery-shopping by bike" for charity event is Saturday evening. It's $25. And, you know, you have to bring your bike (and a lock, and a light, and supermarket navigational ability, and a combination of daring and common sense). The event benefits the Hunger Homeless Action Committee of Albany.

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.

I am almost positive Cranksgiving supports the Homeless Action Committee, but I will double-check and report back.
