The Scoop
For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.

I'm actually impressed that their chestnuts are Italian and not Chinese. In the past I've automatically assumed they came from China, or maybe they did and this year they changed. Regardless, I hope to get to try some of their hot Italian nuts.

Why does everything awesome happen at the Niskayuna store? Where's the Albany love??

Because it's close to the Price Chopper corporate headquarters. HQ is a pretty sweet building. I can't see them relocating to Albany anytime soon.
But now Niskayuna is where the battle against ShopRite is raging. When the new ShopRite opens on Central Avenue, we might see some fun things appear at the Westgate Price Chopper too.
Naturally, all of the above is pure speculation.

How many people actually enjoy roasted chestnuts?
On a whim, I bought some chestnuts last week at Hannaford. I Googled the proper way to roast them and decided to give it a go. I figured I like every other nut, and I'd never had a chestnut before. I assumed it would make a nice crunchy, salty snack.
Whoa, was I wrong... in my Googling I failed to read about what they TASTE like.
Chestnuts = Strangest Food Ever.
