Beaming up Santa

santa abducted by aliens holiday light display

For Santa's sake, let's hope all that stuff about probing is a myth.

Arielle sent along this holiday light display from the yard of a house on Western Ave in Guilderland.

Yep, that's Santa being abducted by aliens.

(Thanks, Arielle!)

Wow, that's pretty great!

I could use some holiday cheer right about now...anyone know of any neighborhoods worth checking out for lights?

I saw this earlier in the week and did a double tap on my brakes as I drove by. After I my intial WTF?!?! my next thought was, geez, gotta go back and get a photo for AOA. Glad you snapped it, Arielle!

Gawkers: The house is just west of the Guilderland Fire Department, for anyone else who needs to see it to believe it.

The lights on the UFO are animated too, which this still pic doesn't capture. I've seen a lot of huge & impressive light displays over here in Guilderland, but I much prefer the creative ones like this.

The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
