Follow up on the story of Michelle Williamson, the UAlbany student who chased, tackled and pinned the guy who allegedly stole her wallet. The St. Rose Chronicle's Kayla Matteo scored an interview with Williamson and got a lot of details about the incident. At one point the guy reportedly pleaded with her to let him go.

So to recap: there's this woman, the staff at Bomber's who chased down the guy who stole the tip jar, the folks who chased the deposit-thief at the northway mall, and another woman I heard about who chased after a girl on a bike after said-girl-on-bike stole a wallet from someone in a wheelchair in Washington Park. I'm liking this new trend!

I had to chuckle at the thief's comment "I'm just gonna take this."
I don't think so!
I suspect he thought he was grabbing someone's bill and payment left on the table, and would just act like waitstaff or something, hoping people wouldn't even notice.
As it turns out, he was a moron and got his buttocks kicked.
