one red foldup chairEarlier this week Mindy asked on Twitter:

Can anyone recommend a place to rent chairs near Albany?

We retweeted. There were a handful of helpful suggestions. So we've collected them for the next person with that question.

How many do you need to rent? I needed 20 folding chairs for an event at my house. The True Value center on rt 4 in Troy/East Greenbush has a rental center. $1 per chair, but I just put them into my car - I don't know if they deliever.

Party Warehouse on Fuller Road. You could always send out an email to coworkers if you can borrow some also.

Very useful - thanks! I need to rent some tables (8x3' or so preferably) for next weekend, so I'll look at these places.

It's a colossal social failure that starts with the breakdown of families and then circles back around to more breakdown of families. I've lived next to drop-outs, and I've seen firsthand the lack of parenting that sends the signal, passed from generation to generation. No magical teacher or administrator is going to reach down and counter that effect.
