In Albany, the pull of dollar store addiction is strong

In NYT today Jesse McKinley tells of how he outfitted his new apartment in Albany by shopping at dollar stores. He describes Albany as "the state's capital and perhaps its dollar-store capital as well," and says he felt the pull of dollar store addiction. Just out of curiosity, I tried to find which one the author was talking about. Maybe it's Delaware Dollar?
