Extraordinarily suspect methodology link of the day: an e-commerce site called Alice (yeah, no idea) has ranked the Albany metro at the top of its "most romantic cities" list, based on purchases in the "sexual health" category. (This list also ranked highly on a list of lists that were easily spotted as linkbait and yet were linked to anyway. Drat.) See also: Why city rankings always get it wrong (Thanks, Jess)

It seems that they based their results on purchases made at their own site -- so it may be more accurate for them to say to say we're the top metro who spend money on those products at Alice.com. (Unless I'm reading it wrong, which is also possible...)
