By this time a lot of folks have given up on their New Year's Day promises. Rather than bemoan that fact, today we're celebrating our freedom to opt out of our resolutions with a big, fat, delicious drawing.

OK, so stop salivating on the computer and answer this question to enter the drawing:

We'll draw a winner at random from the entries.

This blasted Vespa hostile weather! more importantly, it's bad enough in the morning that I can't ride my vespa to work, but good enough that by lunch, I can take a walk, and by the time I go home, it's perfectly fine vespa weather! YARRRRRGGGGHHHHHHFIRSTWORLDPROBLEMS!

The Republican Primary! I like following this junk, but when it's two YEARS worth of yelling and complaining and scandal it becomes a reality tv show that's jumped the shark. (The jump the shark moment, I think, was Herman Cain expressing his desire to become the Defense Secretary).

The price of groceries! I found a receipt for groceries in my coat pocket from 2007 and across the board the price on everything went up at the very least 25 cents and some basic, common items were $1 more. Yet sadly employers aren't always paying those cost of living raises (if any raises at all).

Last weekend I went out for a few cocktails at Justin's, one of my favorite joints. Well, it looked like the Jersey Shore vomited all over my normally calm, favorite place. Obnoxious Snookie and Situation wannabees were everywhere. They could not stop dropping their drinks, and there was broken glass all over the floor. One girl stumbled into me and almost knocked me over. And the screeching...oh lord. Their dresses wouldn't have even been appropriate in July. It was too much.

I've had just too much of people tacking a -y to end of the words. For example, on the design shows I like to watch, the often-used "vintage-y" is like nails on a chalkboard to my ears.
