Just before 4 pm on Wednesday.
The high temp for today was 59. That's short of the record for the date (65 in 1989) -- but it's still 27 degrees higher than the normal for the day. [NWS]
The forecast for the rest of the week: highs in the 35-40 range, no snow.

We seem to have had a fair number of, er fair days. Not many seem to be reaching the record high, but, oh great statistical gods, are the monthly averages close to the records?

I remember February 1, 1989! After school that day I went for a bike ride with my friend. We wore shorts. For some reason that memory is burned into my brain.
