metroland readers poll aoa mention 2012It always feels good to know that people appreciate what you do. So it was a very pleasant surprise to see today that we had been voted to the top of two categories in the annual Metroland readers poll -- best local website, community; and best local blog -- as well as mentions in a few others. We're especially happy about the community category because it's a credit to the AOA crowd itself.

Thank you to everyone who voted for AOA. We really appreciate it that people keep us in mind.

And, as we said last year, it's great to see other local independent sites -- Nippertown, Friday Puppy, KAB -- also recognized in the poll. Here's to a vibrant neighborhood.
