Spring forward this weekend
The annual exercise in jetlagging the entire population -- the start of daylight saving time -- is early this Sunday morning (2 am). So clocks are moved ahead one hour (you know, "spring forward"). And we all lose an hour of sleep. If you're thinking, "What? Already?" -- yes, already. A law passed by Congress in 2007 expanded DST, pushing the start to early March and the end to early November. (We're still adjusting.)
