Aside from Craigslist, where to find a roommate?
Laura asks via Twitter:
Any ideas on where to search for a roommate other than Craigslist? Coming up blank for 1st time.
We can understand understand not wanting to dip into the Craigslist pool (really). But it's pretty much become the place for this sort of thing.
So, other ideas for Laura? Please share!

I know that a little known secret is that I'm constantly willing to rent out the small third bedroom in my house, but it's something that I don't actively advertise and wouldn't unless someone cool was looking for a place to stay. I wouldn't want someone random ruining what is a perfectly fine roomie relationship. Even if I do pick on my roomie a little too much.

As I said in a follow-up tweet, I am stuck with an essential paradox: my apartment has a limit of one dog, and most of the people interested in living with a dog already have their own dog.
Me, I would have loved to have access to a dog but not full responsibility for it before I was ready to get my own. But not everyone feels that way, and I get it.

Facebook. Write a short ad, ask your friends to share it. You'll hit a few thousand people quickly.
