Sherlock marathon

WMHT is showing the three season one episodes of the BBC's modern adaptation of Sherlock starting this Sunday at 4:30 pm. (They're also on Netflix if you're so inclined.) The new season, which has already aired in the UK, starts at 9 pm that night. Also: WMHT is screening Season 2 at St. Rose on Saturday -- it's free, but you need a ticket (and they're still available) And, just because: Otters Who Look Like Benedict Cumberbatch: A Visual Examination

Well there goes MY Sunday.

You all have the patience to not proxy the BBC iPlayer? I won't spoil it for you then, except to say that the first series of Dirk Gently is just as good, if not better, than the second season of Sherlock.

This is a pretty random thing to see on AOA. If you guys need someone to start doing Downton Abbey recaps, let me know.

A cold shiver just went up my boyfriend's spine and he has no idea why...

It's especially random/coincidental since WMHT is showing a Series II screening on Saturday at St. Rose! That's totally what I expected this post to be about.

@Paul: It got a mention because I can never figure out the PBS schedule. (I don't how many times I've turned on the TV to watch Charlie Rose at 11 pm and seen some random documentary.) So, because the show is popular and the local station was running a marathon, it got a mention.

@Andie: You're correct. And we heard from WMHT yesterday that tickets are still available.

The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
