Craig and his wonderful list

craigslist wacky weekend wafflesThe good thing about Craigslist: It's a window into our fellow community members' wants, needs and aspirations. The bad thing about Craigslist: It's a window into our fellow community members' wants, needs and aspirations.

Good or bad, we'll let you decide...

"I'm looking for anyone who would be interested in tickling in the upstate area." You know, that could mean so many things...

He finds her response to annoying elevator behavior in the Corning Tower cute.

He was "beardy" and "STUNNING."

If fate somehow brings them back together, we hope it's for something more romantic than Bruegger's.

gawking at her while she loads her groceries < helping her load her groceries

"I was wearing suspenders and a red plaid shirt." Well, that could be anyone...

All that from passing the guy in your car?

In case it's unclear: she really hates him.

It's possible he used the old "I'm just staring at your arc reactor" excuse.

He left dried fruit at her place.

This guy is really over-prioritizing the receipt.

He likes to split his time between smoking and "sh*tty old remnants of buildings."

The missed connection as existential question.

Haha! Thank you for the 2nd annual pageant of Prom Dresses of Unusual Taste. A great break in my day!

Who's Craig?
Does he work for AOA?

Thanks for the heads up about the newspapers. My husband collects WWII stuff and would love to look at those!

The very fact that there's such a thing as the "Night Moves Prom Collection" fills me with despair. The fact that I am sure I saw that dress on the daughter of a Facebook friend, who was very proud of how she looked, fills the despair to overflowing and causes despair stains on the hardwood floors.

The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
