This could be interesting: the Albany Music Coalition has set up a series of songwriting workshops featuring local musicians. Blurbage: "The series is intended to provide a forum for capital region musicians performing in various genres and at every level of experience to come together to discuss the songwriting process."
The panel discussion will be at Fuzz Records on Lark Street. The first session is August 2 -- with Caroline Corrigan of Babe City, and Eric Krans and Jen O'Connor of The Parlor. Schedule is post jump.
All the panels start at 6:30 pm. They're free.

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.
