The Giants/Albany summer relationship

The Giants are like Albany's summer girlfriend -- it's fun, it's light, but you probably like her a little more than she likes you -- and there's always the possibility she won't come back to camp next year because she's found something (or someone) more interesting. The Giants' leave UAlbany tomorrow and their contract for pre-season camp there is up. Owner John Mara isn't committing to bring the team back to Albany. Both the school and Jerry Jennings are pushing for the team to return. And UAlbany is apparently looking at how it might be able to reconfigure its facilities to make the team happy -- Giants' coach Tom Coughlin apparently lives "in constant fear" of rain shortening practice. The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
