State Museum opening Sundays again
NYSED announced today that the State Museum will once again be open on Sundays, starting September 16. Sunday hours were eliminated in 2011 because of budget cuts. Before that, Sundays had represented about 20 percent of the museum's attendance, according to the press release. The trade-off for being open the full weekend: the museum will be closed to public on Mondays. (That's not a bad trade.)

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. This is great news! I would imagine that Saturdays and Sundays would be the most popular days for locals to visit the museum.
