Yesterday the NHL canceled all of its September preseason games because of its lockout -- which means the Rangers-Devils game at the TU Center scheduled for next Wednesday (September 26) is now off. [via @JoeYerdonPHT] Hoops: You know who's not locked out? The NBA. (It did that last season.) The Knicks and Celtics are scheduled to play a preseason game at the TU Center October 20.

Bummed - I was really looking forward to this. Will still make it to the AHL kickoff though. Even though there isn't a ton of local support, the AHL games are a blast!
