Where to watch election results?

proctors election results viewing 2012 posterKate emails:

Are there any places around Albany to go for an election results watch party? This would be easy to find in D.C., but do people do that in Albany? If so, where?

Proctors is showing live broadcast results in GE Theater tonight -- doors open around 9:15 pm. It's free.

If you have a suggestion for Kate, please share.

In our experience, a lot of bars/restaurants with TVs will have the results on. And there will be plenty of people looking for a drink because their candidate won/lost -- or just because it's finally over.

The University Club in Albany has a viewing party.

We are having a party at my house.

There's a mega watching party with live concurrent streaming of CNN, MSNBC, & FOX at the Tang in association with their exhibition We The People.. it's so THE place to watch the election this year!

The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
