Into the pool for mayor
It looks like Kathy Sheehan will officially announce this Saturday that she's running for mayor of Albany, JCE reports. Sheehan is currently the city treasurer, and before that was a corporate attorney. Jerry Jennings hasn't said publicly what he's planning to do next year -- but there's no indication that he won't be running. [TU]

Didn't she just run for something?

@Lucas: She ran for treasurer in 2009 (her first run for elected office). Over the last year or so she's also been sort of unofficially running -- it hasn't been uncommon to see her at events, and she's been appearing at political house parties.
