Maybe it was the 'stache that gave him away
From the Syracuse Post-Standard today, not an Onion headline: "Cortland County district attorney admits acting in porn movies in 1970s." Apparently there had been rumors that such work was part of the DA's body of work from his time as an actor -- but he had "adamantly denied that he was a porn star," according to CNY Central. (Cortland County is just south of the county that includes Syracuse.) [via @thomaskaplan]

Meh. 40 years ago. I know it's kinda "funny", but people seem so obsessed with other people's sex life in this country (see the Petraeus circus), any reason to add more to this pile of hypocrisy?

I take that back, for it allowed me to read the following comment: "He's been banging more than his gavel .....".

I wonder how he was found out? Who the heck can remember faces from those grainy, out-of-focus 1970's porn films, anyway. Umm, not that I ever watched any....
