RIP, Mr. Food

Mr FoodArt Ginsburg -- AKA Mr. Food, "Ohh... It's sooo good." -- has passed away in Florida. He was 81. Ginsburg was originally from Troy -- he grew up working in father's butcher shops, and eventually moved into catering. He was also active in local theater, and a director asked him to appear on a local TV morning show segment in the 1970s -- that eventually led to syndicated segments on stations all over the country. Bonus bit: Here's a 1997 clip of Mr. Food on Conan. [MrFood.com] [AP/WP] [Troy Record 2010] [MLive 2011] [CBS6]
