Fierce Christmas

sandra lee christmas tree 2012OK, people, let's just call this now: New York's First Lady-friend has won over-the-top Christmas. The rest of us are playing for second place. Deploy your garland and tinsel accordingly. (Yes, that appears to be a silver tiger lounging beneath the tree at the Lee/Cuomo house. Fierce. Update: Here's more about the $4,000something silver-plated tiger.) [@SandraLee] [NY Observer]

The tiger sends it from fabulous to tacky town. Eeek.

Where can I get one of those tigers?

Her thought process completely baffles me. At least on TV, she has somewhat of an editing process. I feel like this is pure, unadulterated Sandra Lee and I'm a little scared.

Love the tiger but that tree is the stuff of nightmares.

Well, they do say you can't buy taste.

Is there a volunteer group of any kind that clears sidewalks, crosswalks, and bus stops after storms for people who can't do it themselves or places that don't have anyone to look after it? I'd be interested and willing to pitch in, provided I'm not giving anyone a free ride on their civic duty.
