Golf during the winter?

This is my first winter as a golfer in the northeast. I know all of the golf courses are shut down for the season, but are there any driving ranges anyone can recommend that are amicable to the elements and allow me to work on refining my game?
Got a suggestion for Lucas? Maybe one those indoor virtual golf places? Please share.

Played Van Patten (Clifton Park) yesterday and it was in great shape for Dec.13th. They'll stay open as long as they can just expect frost delays in the early morning. Eagle Crest (Clifton Park) and Mill Run (Latham) are open as well.
