Not the end

Good to know: Skidmore assistant professor Heather Hurst -- an archaeologist and archaeological illustrator who was part of a team that discovered the oldest known Mayan calendar -- says the world will not end this Friday, and the Mayans didn't think it would (contrary to persistent hubbub). No, no! Not good to know! I took a crap on my boss's desk, had unprotected sex (ok, it was with myself), and bought a Ferrari with a rubber check! This is not good news!

That's good to know... I have PLANS for 2013, PLANS! :)

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. I found Trevin Peterson through an All Over Albany recommendation about 2 years ago. ... His quotes were better detailed than other contractors. This spring, the job scope actually grew considerably since I decided this contractor was capable of replaceing 40 year old deteriorating retaining walls with architectural block here at my hillside home, along with an old side entrance deck supported by rotting cantilevered joists. Everything came out looking very professionally well done. He is partnered now with a master carpenter Chris Urba, and the company is now called Built By Design ... They will not be your cheapest quote, but if you want expert work they have the experience.
