Marc Maron at The Egg

Marc Maron by Dmitri von Klein

Comedian Marc Maron will be at The Egg February 1. Tickets are $27.50 -- they go on sale to the general public this Friday (January 4).

Update: If you'd like to get in on the pre-sale, the code is "bazooka."

Maron has been in comedy for long time, and has made a bunch of appearances on TV. But the thing for which he's gotten the most recognition lately is his popular interview podcast WTF with Marc Maron.

More comedy, even sooner: John Oliver -- of Daily Show fame -- will be at The Egg January 11.

Yeah! Yes! Woo hoo!

I don't know if it's cool to share this or not, but since it's on the Saratoga Live Nation Twitter feed, the pre-sale password is bazooka.

... I tend to ask questions that make the person think about what they just said. I ask it sweetly and in a tone that notes confusion on my part. I have been called honey in the office and asked the person, " Can I ask what you mean when you call me honey? Because you don't call John honey." It calls out that he's treating you differently for being a woman. If he still doesn't get it, you can be more direct: "I appreciate that you respect my work and treat me equally, but I wouldn't want others to think otherwise based on how you address me."
