Petersburg Pass
An interesting take from the Biz Review's Philip Schwartz on skiing the Petersburg Pass -- a former ski area just off Route 2 on the Rensselaer County/Massachusetts border. "The safety net that comes with resort skiing is gone in places like Petersburg. It's not Rocky Mountain backcountry-- for one, there's no threat of avalanche--but there's still an element of danger. There's no ski patrol to scoop you up if things go wrong. You have to be more aware of your surroundings; you have to rely wholly on yourself."
Say Something!
We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.
