Dining Out for Life 2013

dining out for life 2013 logoOne of our favorite fundraisers of the year is coming up next month -- the AIDS Council of Northeastern New York's Dining Out for Life event. It's Thursday, April 25.

Here's how it works: You go out to eat.

That's it.

Well, that's almost it. You go out to eat at one of the participating restaurants on that day and the restaurant will donate a portion of your bill to The Aids Council. There are lunch and dinner options available, and there are even some bakeries and dessert places in the mix. It's an easy way to do a good thing. And it's a good excuse to get a bunch of friends together for dinner.

As in past years, AOA is again a media sponsor/ambassador for Dining Out for Life. And our restaurant this year is the City Beer Hall. We'll be there for both lunch and dinner that day. So please say hi if you stop by -- we've had a fun time the past few years.

If you can't make it to one of the Dining Out for Life events here's how to make a donation.

Always a great excuse to go out for lunch or dinner (or both)! Thanks to the local restaurants who participate.

Dining Out For Life is the best event in all of the land! I am so looking forward to stuffing myself with great food ALL DAY LONG...because, you know...it's for a good cause. :)

BTW - my personal best on the bull at City Beer Hall is .5 seconds.

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.

What's All Over Albany?

All Over Albany is for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. In other words, it's for you. It's kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who can help you find out what's up. Oh, and our friends call us AOA.

Very nice redesigns. I hope that area becomes more of a neighborhood rather than what it currently is - still an expressway that happens to have hotels and apartments along it. I'd love to see wide sidewalks and protected bike lanes from Crossgates all the way to Manning.
