A local dodgeball group will be attempting to re-set the world record for the longest dodgeball match by playing for 43 straight hours starting this Friday at the Sportsplex of Halfmoon. The group includes Rob Immel, who was part of the crew that set the previous world record during a match at the Washington Ave Armory in 2010. (That record was later topped by a group of Vermont college students.) The dodgeball marathon is also a fundraiser for the Wounded Warrior Project. [Saratogian]
