Costco is looking at locations around Albany -- so says the developer of mixed-use project near Syracuse (for which Costco is planned) to the Syracuse Post-Standard. The store near Syracuse would be Costco's first upstate. [via TU]

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.

We talk about the various grocery store arrivals, but to me Costco is the 800 pound gorilla in the beer cooler. Their merchandising is innovative and there's a lot of high end grocery stuff at bargain prices. Already I'm salivating.
