Arts Center Kids Painting.jpg

The Arts Center for the Capital Region -- fun stuff for kids, and adults.

This week was brought to you by art, cans, new apps, day trips, peanut butter eggs and tangible signs of spring.

It was also brought to you by AOA advertisers like Arts Center for the Capital Region. They're now registering for creative summer camps for kids, pre-teens, and teens. And on April 27th and 28th they're hosting a Fine Arts and Crafts Show, with locally-made handmade works in metal, wood, fiber, leather, paper, and more.

Please take a moment to peruse the list of our other advertisers, and keep them in mind. Thanks!

If there's something you want to pass along to the AOA Crowd, we can help get you started. It's easy and affordable. Just send us a note at advertising@alloveralbany.com.

Comments

I don't like the pay for play ads in disguise as a calendar.

@Dave: We're sensitive to the idea of advertising influence content. In fact, our advertiser contracts state that advertising does not buy coverage. But these "This week was brought to you by" posts are pretty clearly marked as a listing of advertisers. They're not regular calendar content.

As for other posts, we pick things we think people could find interesting. And sometimes that means an event (or whatever) that involves an advertiser. In those cases, we do our best to disclose the fact that a company is advertising with us so it's clear that we realize there may be the appearance of conflict.

If you have continued concerns, please contact us: editors |at| alloveralbany |dot| com.

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.
