Best thing we read today: John Enger's article in the Gazette about the hoped-for return of chimney swifts to a spot in Northville. The birds -- which look like "cigars with wings" -- migrate from Peru each spring, and have arrived at a specific chimney at an old glove factory in the village for a century. One problem this year: the chimney was torn down. So, what now?
