To the finish, quickly
Kenya's Emily Chebet won the Freihofer's Run for Women on Saturday with a time of 15:26 for the 5k race. We're always amazed at how fast the people at the top these results are -- Chebet's run averaged 4:58 per mile.(She holds the course record at 15:12, set in 2010.) This year's race set the record for largest field, with 5,045 people participating.

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.
