I had a training in Staatsburg (south of Rhinebeck) on Tuesday and decided to drive back home to Albany via Route 9. I turned my radio off and just listened to the cicadas with the windows down. I'm sure it becomes a nuisance for those who live in that area, but the waves of sound were incredible.

I must say, I'm quite relieved! But, I'll be headed down to Dutchess and Orange Counties on Monday, so I'll be prepared for the invasion there. Thanks for the update!
