Today's moment of summer

Go ahead, lean out the window just a bit.

We had a very pleasant time at the ValleyCats game Wednesday as part of AOA's get together at The Joe. The weather took a turn for the better. We ate some hot dogs. Had some good conversations. High-fived a few mascots. And the home team won.

Thanks to everyone who came along.

Speaking of hot dogs: Wednesday was 50 cent hot dog night -- and we heard from a ValleyCats rep that about 5,000 of them were sold.

Very enjoyable evening.

A relaxing day at the ball park with and interesting and entertaining group of readers and contributors. Many thanks to AOA and the Valley Cats for making a Wednesday summer night a memorable night. I hope event collaborations between AOA and local sports teams and businesses are in the works later in the summer.

The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
