Independents cruise

For "Independents Week" -- a nationwide campaign to highlight local, independent businesses July 1-7 -- Local First of the Capital Region has organized a Dutch Apple cruise on the Hudson Tuesday, July 2 to provide a networking opportunity for local business owners. There will also be samples from Albany Distilling and Portofino's, as well as drink specials. Ship leaves at 6 pm, it's $10.

Please join us! This is going to be a great kick-off for Independents Week, which has now been officially declared by city and county leaders for July 1-7. During the cruise, we'll have a chance to talk about the impact of local and independent businesses, and how we can work together to succeed!
