Uncomfortably familiar
Yet another cover popped off a manhole in downtown Albany today because of a problem with an underground electrical cable. It's amazing that these underground explosions -- some of which have involved large plumes of smoke and flame -- have been happening in downtown Albany since 2009 and National Grid apparently still isn't sure exactly what's causing them. (As far as we know, "underground volcano" or "dragons" have not been suggested... yet.) [TU] [AOA 2009] [AOA 2012]

Albany is an old city. Dragons actually make sense.

We're going to have to get this under control before the aquarium opens.
