+The Saratoga Performing Arts Center, presenting the Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, July 24 & 25.

+Albany's Alive at Five free concert series, every Thursday in Riverfront Park. This week, it's blues night with The Tom Healey Band and Blues Sanctuary.

+The Spectrum 8 theaters, screening the documentary Dirty Wars -- a look at America's covert wars. One night only -- July 24 at 7p.m. They're also screening Evocateur -- the Morton Downy Jr. movie, on August 7, with a post show Q&A with the director.

Food and Drink

+City Beer Hall's Barrel-Aged Beer Festival is this Saturday. They're also serving brunch at 11a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

+The Cheese Traveler can put together picnic and barbecue packs for a delicious summer party.

+Mingle's new menu has a light fare section with delicious and affordable choices for every taste -- including including their popular Asian Burger, vegetarian and gluten free options. This summer be on the lookout for Fin the Fishmonger's "Fin"-tastic specials, including fresh haddock fish tacos & pan-seared whole trout. Their chef will be using local products to create new specials daily to keep the menu fresh.
