+Albany's Alive at Five free concert series, every Thursday in Riverfront Park. This week, it's blues night with The Tom Healey Band and Blues Sanctuary.

+The Spectrum 8 theaters, screening the documentary Dirty Wars -- a look at America's covert wars. One night only -- July 24 at 7p.m. They're also screening Evocateur -- the Morton Downy Jr. movie, on August 7, with a post show Q&A with the director.

+ The Arts Center for the Capital Region featuring two new exhibitions: the Fence Select Show and Associations by Channing Lefebvre, winner of the 2012 President's Award.

+Mingle's new menu has a light fare section with delicious and affordable choices for every taste -- including including their popular Asian Burger, vegetarian and gluten free options.
