Coming to CDTA buses by fall 2015: "contactless" smart card readers, the ability to recharge fare cards online (and do so automatically, like E-ZPass), the ability to purchase fares on a mobile device and then use that device as a fare card. The transit org says the $7.3 million fare system upgrade will be the first since 2003. [CDTA]

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
