Two issues raised in this Saratogian story by Caitlin Morris about the Saratoga County Sheriff's Department arrest report/press release practices: 1) The "case of the missing press release" and whether the department holds back certain arrest reports; and 2) The fact that the department distributes (if that's the word) arrest reports to the media by making them available in a binder in an office, and reporters then take photos of the individual report pages. (This is all happening in 2013.) [Saratogian]
