Win weekend passes to RestFest 2013

Rest fest 2013 poster.jpgThe fourth annual Rest Fest is coming up this weekend, September 6-7. This year the festival will be held in a new venue -- the Contemporary Artists Center at Woodside in Troy. The headliner is Philadelphia-based indie band Man Man. Among the other bands in the lineup: Bear Grass, The Parlor, Sgt Dunbar and the Hobo Banned, Swamp Baby, Barons in the Attic, The North & South Dakotas and Tor and the Fjords.

We have a pair of passes good for the whole weekend of music, and they could be yours. Enter the drawing by answering the following question in the comment section of this post:

Rest Fest is filled with lots of great music by bands with some really fun names. If you had a band -- what would you name it?

Come on -- you know you've thought about it.

We'll draw one winner at random.

Important: All comments must be submitted by noon on Wednesday, September 4th to be entered in the drawing. You must answer the question to be part of the drawing. One entry per person, please. You must enter a valid email address (that you check regularly -- seriously, if you win, we want to give you the tickets) with your comment. The winners will be notified via email by 10pm on Wednesday September 4 and must respond by noon on Thursday September 5.

AOA has been a media sponsor of Rest Fest.

The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
