Karin Lin-Greenberg, a assistant professor of creative writing at Siena, was one of the two winners of this year's Flannery O'Connor Award for Short Fiction. The award is aimed at bringing the work of young writers to greater attention -- Lin-Greenberg's collection of short stories, Faulty Predictions, will be published next fall. Previous winners of the award include: Ha Jin, and (more recently) Albany native Jessica Treadway.
For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
