A Break in the Weather

Locals The Charlie Watts Riots have a new album out this week, A Break in the Weather. The first song from the album is embedded above. It's power pop-y.

CWR collaborated with veteran producer Nick Raskulinecz in Nashville on the final version of the album. Raskulinecz has worked with a bunch of notable acts, including the Foo Fighters.

There there are two opportunities to catch Charlie Watts Riots this weekend: At LarkFest on the Washington Stage around 3 pm. And then later in the day at Valentine's for an album release show. That show also includes Juston Stens (formerly of Dr. Dog) and John Powhida International Airport.
