For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.

Interesting that you mention that. This year I noticed that the silver maples are all yellow. Sugars are definitely red, because it's the sugar in them that turns it red. I know we also have a lot of Norway maples (not a native species, in case you were curious) in the Helderberg area, but for some reason they don't seem to be turning yet.
