"If you don't see 50 cows in the road, you're doing something (you shouldn't be doing)."

From farther afield: The Times Herald-Record reports a driver -- accused of texting and/or checking her mobile while driving -- plowed into a herd of cows in Mount Hope, New York this week, seriously injuring three cows and reportedly knocking one of them five feet in the air. [Times Herald-Record] Update: Wendy says the cows belong to her dad and they were scheduled to be auctioned off soon as he moves toward retirement.

Those herds of cows are a menace to drivers everywhere!

Hey! That's my dad and his farm. I will keep y'all posted as to the outcome of this incident. As of today, the three injured cows underwent surgery and are still alive, but that may change. My dad is scheduled to auction of all of his cows next weekend (he's looking to retire), and we're hoping this won't be a financial setback.

Best quote from the story was when my dad said "I think more of those cows than I do of some people". That's my dad.

Moral of the story: STAY OFF YOUR DAMNED PHONE WHILE YOU'RE DRIVING. DUMMY.

Geeze! Seriously!? Cows don't move that fast across the road (I grew up down the road from a dairy farm). How long was this dope looking at her phone?!

Wendy, I'm so sorry about your dad's cows... they are a huge investment as well as being living things. I agree with your dad.

Wendy: I heart your dad. I hope that the cows will be ok.
