Over at Forbes there's an interesting article about Clifton Park-based software firm Apprenda and how it's managed to thrive in the far reaches of the startup/tech solar system -- that is, somewhere that's not in Silicon Valley (gasp). [via @AlbBizHaley]

Can't miss the subtle regional condescension in an otherwise interesting article. Ya' just gotta love these writers for national magazines and newspapers.

Apprenda loves it I'm sure because their employees have no where else to go. Don't like your salary/company policies? Sorry bud, move to NYC if you want to find another job...
