For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.

I wonder if these are the same guys who always seem to be hanging out in the Cohoes Dunkin' Donuts whenever I happen to pop in there, no matter what hour of the day it is.

One thought for these folks: you invite your pals over to your house and put on a pot of coffee and you are entitled to stay as long as you like. Whatever happened to that instead of having to use public space for socializing?

I for one like that places like Stewart's so often have an always-there-public-hang-out-crew. I think it provides a little character, sense of community, and charm to the all too typical numbing experience of commerce.
