STAR deadline approaching

The deadline for homeowners to register for the the STAR property tax exemption is the end of this month. So if you haven't done it, yet -- do it now. It only takes a few minutes. And (theoretically) you won't have to do it again for future years. The state tax department says the exemption saves a homeowner $700/year on average.

Congrats to Clifton Park to ranking #2 in the state for the highest percentage of registrants at 90 percent -- aren't you all very organized. If you're nosy about response rates for other municipalities around the states, here's the list.
