c amanda boutahorse cult classics ferris posterFun: C. Amanda Boutahorse's Cult Classics burlesque series is taking on Ferris Bueller's Day Off this Friday at the Hangar in Troy with a show called "Ferris Bueller Takes It Off." Event blurbage:

You, too, can help C. Amanda Boutahorse's Cult Classics save Ferris. After all, burlesque moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

The Hangar is that relatively new event space -- a "a funky upcycled and imaginated fun place" in its own words -- on River Street a few blocks north of Hoosick Street.

The show's at 9 pm on Friday, December 20 (doors at 8 pm). Tickets are $10.
